Just after graduating in 2020, I decided to bring my handmade bath bombs to the market, so I had to look for a suitable place to make them. As my garden shed was full of old trash, I decided to throw everything out and to renovate my garden shed: the Soak lab was born. In the Soak-lab, I press all bath and shower bombs and let them dry for 24 hours, after which I personally pack and ship them.
Up to date, all Soak activities take place in my backyard in Leuven, Belgium. The raw materials for the bath bombs are mainly purchased from Belgian suppliers and not in distant countries such as China or Thailand. Not only is this environmental friendly, but it also allows Soak to support the local economy and traders. When you buy a bath or shower bomb from Soak, you are buying a 100% Belgian and high-quality product.
I am very dedicated to bringing you a good and local product at an affordable price. You can find very cheap bath bombs, but they are full of harsh chemicals that do nothing for your skin. By working with Shea butter and Jojoba oil, Soak’s effervescent bathbombs do not dry out your skin. With every bath and shower you support my dream of putting Soak on the map, for which I am very grateful.
